But no one wants to be 'that guy' who needs to borrow tools when out on a ride, or has to hike down the trail with a broken bike. We wanted a solution that would allow us to carry the essential tools that we need for every ride, without wearing a bulky backpack, which is why we created the EDC tool system. For rides under 3 hours we recommend storing your EDC Tool in your steerer tube, with the Tubeless Plug Kit installed and already loaded with Bacon in case you get a flat. By attaching your complete tool system to your bike you can be sure to never forget your repair kit. We carry the 70cc pump mounted to our water bottle cage with a spare tube strapped to our frame using a OneUp Gear Strap, just in case you can't fix a puncture with your tubeless plugs. This leaves your pockets free for keys, phone and snacks. For rides over 3 hours we add a fanny pack or small backpack so that we can pack more food and water, a jacket, merino base-layer and a basic first aid kit.
